On-the-road in Italy this cookery challenge sees ten couples competing over nine weeks to win an Italian Restaurant in their home country. Living and travelling together, each week the presenter takes them to a different region of Italy to master the local speciality dishes. In Sicily, for instance, it would be fish. The two worst performing couples face an Elimination Challenge judged by two celebrity chefs and a famous food critic. In the final, two couples compete in a cook-off in the Italian Restaurant at stake. The winners receive a sign bearing their names to hang above the door.
